Wales: The Prince & The Plotter

Forty years ago on 1^st July 1969, Wales celebrated one of the greatest royal events of the 20^th Century; the Investiture of Prince Charles as Prince of Wales. The day epitomised royal pomp and circumstance, not in London but in the heart of nationalist Wales.  Broadcast to a global audience, it was a day of tradition, ceremony and pageantry; but also a day of bombs and threats to the Royal Family.
