Brian comes home looking for answers to questions that, before now, he's been too afraid to ask. He wants to connect with his elderly father, Sid. Unfortunately, self-absorbed Sid isn't interested. Brian decides his best chance is to become more like him. He takes extreme measures, radically altering his physical appearance and committing acts of self-harm whilst attempting to mirror Sid's ailing faculties. WHile Sid is deaf to the world around him, in his head is a sad cornet solo, audible only to him. For Brian and father to connect, Brian will need the wisdom to aslo hear this music.
