Dearbhla Walsh has made her name as one of today's most successful television directors. From winning three awards at the Celtic Media Festival in the 1990s to collecting an Emmy Award for directing LITTLE DORRIT in 2009, her varied credits include the Irish Film and Television Award winning documentary THE IRISH EMPIRE as well as dramas such as SHAMELESS, THE TUDORS and the recently completed THE SILENCE for the BBC.
Dearbhla talks to Radio Ulster's John Toal about her career to date, her current projects and what the future holds.
