Kick Into Reading

Looking at the work of World-renowned storyteller Dr. Pat Ryan, Kick into Reading followed a group of Cardiff City players, community coaches and backroom staff as they learnt, from Dr Ryan, the skills they needed to entertain the schoolchildren of Cardiff with stories and football-related anecdotes with the ultimate aim of encouraging them to read.

Stories of chickens, sailors and ghosts led to an enthralled audience, an excited Cardiff City team and a very proud Dr Ryan - as we all watched the reading habits of Cardiff's children getting a kick out of reading...
