SEACHT drama series depicts the lives and loves of seven students who attend a Belfast performing arts college in Belfast.  Produced by Stirling Film & Television Productions, the entire series was filmed at Queen's University and at various locations in and around the city.  With its Hollyoaks or Skins feel, we revisit the same students in series 2 and of course all of them seem to be struggling with some sort of problem that is certainly not school related...

We welcome back the girls, bitchy Joanne, beautiful Eithne, lovelorn Caroline and feisty Linda and the boys, hapless Decko, likely lad Brian and heart throb Pete.  We also see two new characters, Paddy and Marcas, neither of whom are what they seem.

Series 2 promises lots of twists and turns and we will see a big change to the characters we became acquainted with in series one.  Reflecting typical student life, expect love, sex and some strong language.

The first series of Seacht has was nominated for IFTA and won at the Celtic Film Festival awards.

Seacht is produced by Stirling Film and Television Productions for TG4 and BBC NI with funding from the Irish Language Broadcast Fund.
