BBC SPORT Scotland serves audiences across digital, television and radio covering football, rugby and a wide range of other sporting events and personalities.
2019 will be a fascinating year with the Women’s World Cup in football and the Mens’ Rugby World Cup; the Solheim Cup being played in Scotland; Andy Murray’s comeback and a host of Scots including Laura Muir, Adam Scott, Katie Archibald and our curling teams competing in the world stage.
BBC Scotland launches a new television channel and our digital service will become more focused with a Nations’ Edition and content targeted at younger audiences.
The post holders will work across our daily ouput which includes sport on reporting Scotland, radio bulletins and digital written and video material.
You will have extensive knowledge of, and passion for, sport with experience of delivering content to audiences across a range of platforms.
Experience of delivering day to day news is essential for this role..
You should be able to demonstrate written skills and/or an ability to gather and edit video for broadcast and it will be expected to broadcast live in this role.
You will have the opportunity to work with our radio and television teams.

You will be both a team player and have the ability to work on your own.
