Another Country with Ricky Ross: Rodney Crowell & Sara Watkins
This programme celebrates the passion and relationship that Scotland has with country music & Americana, making the genre relevant and accessible to a multi-generational audience. Scottish people have such an affinity with this music and tradition. Country music grew from celtic roots and Scots recognise it’s their own music coming back at them. Another Country retains the roots influences but explores the edgier side of country music. This weekly musical road trip includes contemporary alternative tracks alongside vintage artists who were doing something different. Artists are invited to play sessions on the show and talk about their love of song-writing.
