Edi Stark - BBC Radio Scotland

Started in independent local radio station Northsound Radio in Aberdeen as Community Co-ordinator, heading a team creating output with diversity as a key component, working with community groups, voluntary organisations and charities. Soon promoted to Head of Speech, managing all station speech features and programmes including arts, entertainment, business, science, health and education. Freelance since 1989 making features for Radio 4 and presenting for BBC Radio Scotland: biweekly programme Above the Belt, daily magazine programme, The Slice and consumer programmes. In 2000, created independent company Stark Productions and Stark Talk, is the BBC Radio Scotland's flagship conversation series.
