Sketchorama
Glasgow based indie The Comedy Unit have been flying the flag for a new generation of sketch writers and performers with their live sketch group showcase ‘Sketchorama’ for BBC Radio 4. Over 4 series Sketchorama has featured 44 acts and given a platform to over 150 new comedy writer/performers. Hosted by Isy Suttie, the episode submitted is a great example of how the show gives the live audience and the Radio 4 listeners a taste of the innovation and distinctiveness currently on the UK sketch circuit. The episode features Twins Macabre, Massive Dad, and acclaimed sketch trio The Penny Dreadfuls.
