Euro 2016 Wales V Belgium
Wales hadn’t qualified for a major football tournament in 58 years, so when they reached Euro 2016 the majority of the nation were happy just to be there. But then they started winning… They finished top of their group (which included England and Russia) and they beat Northern Ireland in the the next round. But then it was Belgium, and their golden generation, in the quarter-finals in Lille; just a few miles from the Belgian border. Surely this would be the end of the road and the fairytale…
