Rhaglen Aled Hughes

Aled Hughes’ mission is to make the heart of the nation beat a little faster. He knows when to reach for the scalpel and methodically tackle the big issues, always guided by what his listeners want to know. Aled senses when it's time to tickle, not tackle and has a flair for finding guests - the son who saved his father's life, the friends heading to refugee camps in Calais. He’s often out and about, hearing the stories that are the listeners' own and can't resist a challenge - showing lively sow'Miss Dainty' at the Royal Show one week, building a dry stone wall the next. This morning’s mix? Swear words, Down’s Syndrome and bees.
