Parents Who Catch Paedophiles
The programme investigated paedophile hunters who pose as schoolchildren to catch the growing number of online predators. As a new group in Wales saw their targets caught and jailed, the programme examined the tactics used by some hunter groups. It also followed a group as they caught a man arriving by train ready to abuse two girls and interviewed the family of a paedophile, caught up in a sting. They subsequently had to move home. As a result of the programme Gwent’s Police and Crime Commissioner called on all Welsh forces to start working with the groups.
