Tormod – An Oiteag Uibhisteach

Norman MacLean, a man of many talents.  As a schoolboy Norman was encouraged by teacher Jake MacDonald to take Gaelic as a subject. This was the start of a lifelong career for the lad from Govan.  He continued to study Gaelic at university where he met fellow students who later played a major role in his television career.   Sadly life was not always a success for Norman as his alcohol addiction created many career setbacks.  Friends and peers look back at his life revealing stories of his talents, his troubles and how life changed for him in his final years…
