BBC Radio Cornwall
BBC Radio Cornwall is unlike any other part of the BBC local radio chain. Deeply rooted in a community that is fiercely proud of its ancient and Celtic heritage, the station has been providing news, entertainment, and audience interaction since 1983. It is both the voice and champion of the people. Among this year’s stations highlights are interviews and performances by some of the county’s leading Celtic musicians, debate about Cornish identity, and celebrations of Cornwall’s vibrant and diverse community, alongside key events in the Cornish calendar including St Piran’s Day, Trelawny Shout and the Gorsedd.
