Hwedhel Henry Jenner

A documentary about Henry Jenner (1848-1934) who campaigned to get Cornwall recognised as a Celtic nation and prove Cornish is a living, spoken language. Meticulously researched, with access to Henry Jenner’s personal letters and archives, the film uses early film footage from Wales, Brittany and Cornwall, to tell Henry Jenner’s story, which is so intertwined with that of the other Celtic nations. His legacy has inspired generations and his determination led to the founding of the Cornish Gorsedh and many other organisations that work to protect Cornwall's cultural identity today.
