Radio 1 and Radio 6 Music DJ and presenter Huw Stephens is as humble as he is talented. His passion for Welsh culture has shone brightly on Radio Cymru for over fifteen years, and this year he was honoured as the National Eisteddfod’s President. In an emotional address days after his father’s death, he reminded us all of the effect that coming together culturally can have. A lifelong champion of new music who’s equally at home chatting with young children who long to be “DJ of The Day” on his Radio Cymru2 breakfast show - Huw is quite simply a national treasure.
