Tribute to Fran Teixeira, the handball coach who suffers from cancer. "Getting along with sports" is a radio programme that shows the social perspective of sports, focusing mainly on clubs, federations, charismatic personalities and minority sports that are developed in the different areas of Galicia. This one-hour episode recorded last February is a moving tribute to Fran Teixeira, a handball coach. The programme offers an overall review of the carreer of this historic professional born in Vigo in a very delicate moment for him. We will follow Fran´s hard battle against this terrible disease and we will share with him touching moments, anecdotic stories and also some laughs. The radio programme was recorded at the House of Sports in Vigo with an audience of more than 300 hundred people. In order to look over his long and succesful trajectory, the programme had the privilege to count with the voices of his dearest friends, his family and of course with the testimonies of the players, captains, presidents and expresidents of the clubs where he has developed his professional activities.
