Everyone has a lockdown story – and this is Rhys’ - an intimate, honest and very personal portrayal of a period when life changed overnight for everyone. We wander deserted streets with Rhys, reflecting on the seismic changes in our own lives and in society, living in a kind of idyllic trance which is brutally shattered by the death of George Floyd and the ensuing Black Lives Matter protests, which Rhys took part in. With music curated by Rhys, the programme provides a rare glimpse into the life of a very private personality at an extraordinary moment in history.
