Sean Fletcher investigates the hidden history of the 1919 Cardiff Race Riots. Although it claimed lives and columns of newspaper coverage at the time and scarred one of the oldest multicultural communities in Britain, Tiger Bay, it remains an untold story even within the locality. A century on, Sean goes back to the streets where the riots happened, where he once lived, to hear people's experiences of racisms today. The programme reveals harrowing stories about the past and uncomfortable truths about today's wales and contributes to the national response on the importance of preserving black Welsh history for the future.
