DRYCH: Chdi, Fi ac IVF
Chdi, Fi ac IVF’ is an exquisite story of love, sorrow, happiness, desolation, hope and inspiration. When singer and TV presenter Elin Fflur discovered that she couldn’t conceive naturally she and her husband Jason decided that they would document their journey through their second round of IVF, the first one having failed. It’s a journey shared by hundreds of couples, but still tends to be shrouded in secrecy and accompanied very often by a sense of guilt and shame. The documentary illustrates the severity of IVF treatment, the stress and anxieties that have to be dealt with in a real timeframe, and the unfolding story is all the more poignant as the viewers embark on a journey into the unknown with Elin and Jason.
