Aberfan

October 21st 1966 - a date engrained in Wales' memory. On the last day before half term, a coal tip slid down the mountain engulfing Pantglas Junior School and a number of homes in Aberfan. 144 people were killed, 116 of them children. 50 years to the day, this documentary hears from those who were there, from families who live in Aberfan now and from those who've studied the background to the disaster and the fight for justice over half a century. "There was little we could do except dig." "You have to try and move on - but without forgetting the past."
