Cân i Gymru: Dathlu'r 50
It’s Wales’ biggest songwriting competition, and this year Cân i Gymru (Song for Wales) celebrated it’s 50th birthday! In this one off music documentary we will be looking back over the fifty years of competing, discovering previously unheard stories and experiences, and sharing memories of this unique competition. Composers, singers, presenters, musicians, contributors, they all have experienced the euphoria of being part of this unique event where the winner represents Wales in the Pan Celtic Festival every year, and with this we celebrate it’s contribution to Welsh Music and culture.
