RTÉ Investigates; Life & Death-Inside Ireland's Covid Battle
RTE Investigates produced a series of three programmes examining the impact of Covid-19 through the prisms of Life & Death, Survival & Recovery and the impact on the provision of Future Health Care Services. The team spent 3 months inside the Intensive Care Units and Covid wards in St James's Hospital Dublin, recording the struggles of staff, patients and families alike in their individual battles with Covid 19. The programmes revealed the brutal reality of Covid and the long term impacts. The series received widespread public acclaim and continues to be referenced as the most indepth insight into Covid 19. The series was also accompanied by a comprehensive Digital / Online and Social Media campaign.
