Yr Amgueddfa
THE MUSEUM tells a tale of intrigue and deceit – centered in the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff – and follows the fall of Della Howells; a successful, dynamic woman in her 40s who leaves her respectable, middle-class life behind to become part of a criminal underworld. The viewer sees Della’s transformation from heroine to villain and the extreme to which a wife and mother is prepared to go to save her family, even if that means betraying her beliefs and breaking the law. The series reflects themes around heritage, identity, love and loss using Cardiff, its people and its artefacts as a backdrop.
