The Heart of Kerdroya
Kerdroya, The Cornish Landscape Labyrinth, is a major new piece of public art on Bodmin Moor, built to celebrate 60 years of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty using the ancient craft of traditional Cornish hedging. A single meandering path leads you to the heart of the labyrinth. There, we wanted visitors to encounter an artwork that would enhance and add to the Kerdroya experience. After a rigorous selection process, the commission for The Heart of Kerdroya was awarded to father and son artists the Thrussells. This is the journey of their creative process.
