The Battle of Ronaldsway
A group of ‘20-something’ Viking re-enactors meet to recreate the Battle of Ronaldsway, 740 years after the famous fight between Manx and Scots. Ollie is their self-appointed organiser and leader. His nervous energy and enthusiasm is constantly undermined by the fastidious perfectionist Dave; a confident and utterly submersed Manx Battle enthusiast. The remaining re-enactors - Chrystal, Kelly and Dave, are a pleasant yet initially apathetic group. The re-enactment runs into constant problems and tension rises amongst the friends. The event falls flat until Ollie speaks from his heart and everyone is brought back together.
