A Perforated Ulster
A Perforated Ulster is Northern Ireland’s hugely popular topical sketch show. The show is hosted by two of the Province’s much-loved comedy characters Sinn Fein stalwart Da and Loyalist Uncle Andy. Da and Andy are the Ant and Dec of sectarian politics. As well as dealing with purely local matters and the endless farce of Northern Ireland political affairs, A Perforated Ulster has a mix of characters and famous voices tackling everything from Donald Trump to North Korea and much in between. The show consists of jokes, sketches, impressions, political satire, and downright silliness. The emphasis is very much on laugh out loud easily accessible comedy. A Perforated Ulster is recorded live in front of audience and an atmosphere of fun and cheeky irreverence clearly comes across the airwaves.
