The John Creedon Show at the Doolin Folk Festival

John has been broadcasting and playing music on RTE Radio for more than 30 years and is now in an evening slot - five days a week - where he plays his own music. He says he feels rather like a lighthouse keeper every night, the light twinkling and bringing people home. He comes very much from the heart and is passionate about music and connecting with his listeners. For this episode, he took the show on the road for the Doolin Folk Festival - a small village on the dge of the Atlantic for the folk festival. He was armed as always with a teetering pile of CDs and an old CD player but he had a stellar line up of live music including Sharon Shannon, The Stunning, the cool young tradition music of Beoga and Steve Wickham's band No Crows.
