In Two Minds

Daniel Pascoe from Penzance has a 50:50 chance of inheriting Huntington's Disease. HD is a progressive brain disorder that causes uncontrolled movements, emotional problems and loss of thinking ability. There is currently no cure. In the 'In Two Minds' documentary Daniel shares his family's tragic history of HD, meets people living with this hidden condition and their carers before making a decision on whether he should be tested for the faulty gene. As well as the radio broadcast, the documentary was featured on the bbc.co.uk homepage and the BBC Sounds home page where it lives in the ‘England Unwrapped’ section.
