Yr Arwisgo

A play by Wiliam Owen Roberts based on real life events during the period when Prince Charles was a student at Aberystwyth University. Dr William Ogwen Williams was a Welsh History lecturer to the Prince and his decision to tutor him privately angered many of his students. The play explores the guilt Ogwen Williams felt, his course of action and the effect this had on Aberystwyth as a town. With only weeks before the Investiture, Ogwen Williams took his own life. The dramatic interpretations and dialogue are imaginary.
