Fear as Dobhar
Fear as Dobhar examines the life story of Pádraig Ó Dúgáin a founding member of Irish traditional super group Clannad who died on the 9th of August 2016. He was 67. Clannad won Bafta, Ivor Novello and Grammy awards and cleared the way for other celtic musicians to present their traditional music and song to an international audience in their own native ancient language. This timely production tells the story of Clannad’s foundation to international superstars and examines Pádraig’s compositional and artistic contributions through the eyes of his broken hearted twin brother and fellow band member Noel.
