CELTIC MEDIA FESTIVAL
TVG releases a fiction documentary about the 500 days investigation of the case Diana Quer. The documentary is produced by Agallas Films and gathers interviews and a detailed journalistic work with fictional sequences about the investigation of the case. The case that brought more attention from media on, in decades of Galician lurid crime journalism, cloaked a thrilling police investigation. Operation Querpu, drove the investigators through different states of mind: from bewilderment and helplessness at the beginning, to utter desolation until the final success. It was an operation that succeeded in finding the corpse of Diana Quer but was questioned when the main suspect of the Guardia Civil, “O Chicle”, attacked a girl in the town of Boiro that very Christmas Day. A secretive operation that was closed with press conference that became historic in which all details were disclosed at last. 500 frenetic days were over, worth to be told. To walk through those 500 days with the investigators, many sequences recount the most important moments of the operation, from the disappearance and dismissal of the case to the interrogations, key for finding the corpse. Looking for veracity all fictional sequences, other than the finding of the corpse in Asados, were shot in real locations: the same cell, the interrogations room, the Guardia Civil offices or the promenade at Pobra and the street at Boiro where the Christmas Day attack took place.
