Enid a Lucy
This thriller with a strong element of dark humour portrays the relationship between Enid,a respectable piano teacher and chapel goer in her late 50s and Lucy,an impoverished young mother.The two neighbours strike up an unlikely friendship when Enid discovers that Lucy is being abused by her partner Denfer. Enid supports her when she decides to run away with the baby but as they drive away from their home town. Lucy confesses that she has stolen Denfer’s bag- a bag that contains a large amount of drugs. The series develops into a road trip as the pair try to evade members of a drug cartel. The two women also share a life-changing emotional journey - each filling a painful void in the other’s life.
