The A-Z of Things: M is for Mussels
Sonically inventive stories about the objects that shape us, from writers and sound designers new to radio. Margo is pregnant and she can't stop eating mussels. The hard shells are shaped like blue-black tears, gifted from mother to daughter. They speak of sorrow. They speak of the sea... Written by Lara Barbier, a writer from St Ives, Cornwall. Lara was selected as one of BBC Writersroom Cornish Voices and is currently taking part in the C4 Writer’s Scheme West and South West in collaboration with BFI Network. The A-Z of Things was a collaborative project made by BBC Audio Drama Wales, BBC Audio Drama Scotland and BBC Audio Bristol.
