Bore Cothi
The mid-morning programme introduces the listeners to a huge variety of topics, all presented with Shan’s enthusiasm and passion. As you would expect from a classical singer, the music is as varied as the conversation – playing a mixture of music from folk to jazz to opera and pop. During lockdown, interaction with the listeners has been incredibly important, and limerick competitions and requests for favourite hymns in “Cymanfa Cothi” have kept spirits up. Shan can also deal with sensitive subjects including health issues such as the effects of endometriosis; the programme is a reflection of Shan’s empathetic and bubbly personality.
