Tudur Owen: Zoo

Zoo is a funny and nostalgic two-part romp through one of Tudur Owen, and indeed Anglesey’s, most bizarre and compelling chapters. Colourful characters, and even more colourful animals collide in this comic retelling of an all-too-true story from the late 1970s which saw the Owen family’s sheep farm transform itself into what the News Of The World went on to call “The Worst Zoo In Britain”. As well as being a cliff-hanger narrative that tells the story of the ill-fated animal park, Zoo is also a love letter to Anglesey and the idiosyncratic characters who populate the land.
