The Learners
In this new comedy from Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Jonesy has the unenviable task of teaching Welsh to a group of adult learners. Cathy and Frank are keen but hopeless; Yara has recently arrived from Syria and is determined to learn the language of her new home; Jess has her eyes on a Sennedd seat; and Ken is in trouble – and not just because he hasn’t memorised his mutations. In this episode Jonesy puts his students' learning under the spotlight when they take part in a talent competition. Is Abbas too young for a ‘gottle o’ geer’?
