Transfer: The Emiliano Sala Story
On the cusp of a career in the Premier League, Emiliano Sala boarded a plane from Nantes to Cardiff. He was due to start training the next day. But tragedy struck when the plane disappeared from radar over the English Channel. Kayley Thomas asks why Sala was on that plane and what the crash tells us about the football transfer market and the aviation industry. In this episode, Kayley travels to Nantes to meet some of Emiliano Sala's closest friends. We also hear how the footballer was feeling as he prepared to leave France for a new life in Cardiff.
