Zeta

Zeta Zeta is an edition of the culture-specialized program Diario Cultural, which premiered on Radio Galega in 2019. It is a space created and produced by people under 25 and aimed at an audience under that age. Gen Z are the absolute protagonists of this program, from its ideation to its consummation. In addition to its broadcasting on FM, while it’s a program with a radio format, it has essentially a digital route. It is produced in a Radio Galega visual radio studio since September 2022 -premiered in March 2022- in order to be broadcasted on the YouTube channel of Televisión de Galicia. It also has a strong impact on on-demand audio streaming platforms, presumably Spotify, Ivoox, iTunes, and Apple Podcast. Spaces where the younger generations seek forms of information and entertainment adapted to their interests and languages. This program consists of specialized sections on the different aspects of culture, especially music, film, visual and performing arts, and literature. In addition to a team of young people in the production of the program, there is a group of Gen Z collaborators who are already experts and recognized voices in the Galician cultural space. This is the only cultural program in an audio format that currently exists in Galicia for the Gen Z. Presently, in its consolidation stage, it gathers thousands of monthly reproductions and downloads in radiogalegapodcast.gal, Televisión de Galicia’s YouTube channel, and in its profiles of the main audio streaming platforms. The structure of the program consists of the following parts: - Presentation by the program hostess, Lucía Junquera. Journalist under 25, specialized in cultural information. - Interview on a current topic. - Section about adaptation of Gen Z to popular sayings. - Section about TV shows and audiovisuals. - Expert collaboration on: literature, audiovisuals, visual and scenic arts, and music. The four contributors are known voices on the Galician cultural spectrum. Marta enters detective mode in her videogame section to try and find, with Carlos Pereiro’s help, the GTA VI’s hacker. And, the collaborators Alejandro Gándara and Jesús Silva, bring us music and film to close the show.
