Montelago - La Cittá Nomade

Montelago - the nomadic city is a film about passion, friendship and music and about never giving up on your dreams. At the end of the 1970s, two teenagers who grew up in the conformism of the closed Marche region became passionate about Celtic music and began to play it on the radio. Motivated by this great passion they decide to travel around Brittany, Ireland and the rest of Europe to collect instruments and knowledge and start performing live. They toured Italy and Europe, as street artists, and it was essential in building a network of friendships and professional relationships that converge in the great gathering of the Montelago Celtic Festival in 2003. The great musicians of Brittany, Scotland and Ireland, whose records inspired the two when young now are the main acts at the festival of Montelago. The film is a fictionalized account charting the lives of the founders of Montelago Celtic Festival Maurizio Serafini and Luciano Monceri.
