Sgwrs dan y Lloer turned out to be an overnight hit for S4C in Wales. Since airing on S4C on the 1st of June 2020, Sgwrs dan y Lloer has been at the forefront of S4C’s schedule. The format is simple yet effective – BAFTA Cymru nominee presenter Elin Fflur visits the gardens of some of Wales’ most well-known faces during sunset. Heart-warming, softly revelatory, sometimes humorous but always insightful this simplicity has become the secret of its success. In this special hour long episode her guest is the Welsh singer, nationalist politician, football icon and all time legend Dafydd Iwan.
