You've Got A Friend In Me - The Golden Friendships Story

We follow a social club for disabled, special needs and elderly people in Clydebank near Glasgow. Filmed over 5 years the club went from a one weekly afternoon event (30 people attending now hundreds of members daily) to buying the building, renovating it, Lockdown and realising founder Jim McLaren’s dream of the first ever Red Ramp Event in a custom built entertainment venue accommodating up to 50 wheelchair users. An immensely heart-warming story with tears and laughter along the way showing a local community coming together and building a safe and loving place for a forgotten sector of the population.
