BBC Wales Investigates: Welsh Rugby Under The Spotlight

Wales Investigates put an uncomfortable spotlight on the Welsh Rugby Union, exposing allegations of a “toxic culture” of sexism, misogyny and bullying inside one of Wales biggest institutions. In an exclusive interview, a former boss at Welsh women's rugby revealed she’d considered suicide over her experiences. Charlotte Wathan said a male colleague said in front of others that he wanted to "rape" her, and that a manager did nothing. Within a week of the revelations, the WRU’s Chief Executive Steve Phillips quit and it announced an Independent Inquiry into the culture and allegations made in the film.
