BBC Radio nan Gàidheal
BBC Radio nan Gàidheal, is the only national Gaelic language radio service, serving the entire Gaelic language community. The audience interests are as varied as they are in any other community, whilst also being unique in relation to the language. Radio nan Gaidheal incorporates all genres of programming - news, current affairs, factual, arts, education, learning and entertainment – and listeners from across Scotland and worldwide ‘live’ streaming on the internet extends the service to the Gaelic diaspora and learners alike. The service is widely acknowledged as an important forum for Gaels to access information, be entertained and to debate issues of local, national and international importance from their own perspective.
