Centenary
Centenary was a special one-off cultural celebration and the culmination of RTÉ’s programme of events broadcast to mark the 100th anniversary of the 1916 Irish Rising. Featuring a broad range of Irish artists such as Imelda May, Gavin James, Colm Wilkinson, Iarla Ó Lionáird and Danny O’Reilly, Centenary told the story of modern Ireland through music, dance and song, celebrating our Irishness, our arts and our culture over the last century.
