Vocal Chords is a five part music feature series for RTÉ Lyric FM presented by singer Iarla Ó’Lionáird (The Gloaming) as he embarks on a musical odyssey to discover the global phenomenon of the human voice as well as asking the simple but vital questions - why do we sing?, what happens when we do? and is the singing voice mankind’s primary means of communication?
