A special hour of music, song, dance and reflection on the occasion of President Michael D. Higgin’s 80th birthday, recognising his enormous contribution to the Arts and featuring some of Ireland’s finest perfomers, artists and thinkers. With contributions from Van Morrisson, Iarla Ó Lionáird, Tolü Makay, Frankie Gavin, Máirtín O’Connor, Sibéal Ní Chasaide with Séamus Ó Flatharta, Steve Cooney, Paddy Keenan, Thomas McCarthy, Laoise Kelly. The programme also features Rita Ann Higgins, Mary Robinson, Ivana Bacik, Gary Hynes, Doireann Ní Ghríofa and Gearóid Ó Tuathaigh. The programme is bilingual with Irish culture at its heart.
