Bosnia: The Sounds of War

This documentary marks the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide in July 2025, when more than 8,000 Bosniak men and boys were killed by Bosnian Serb forces. It reflects on the wider Bosnian War, which claimed over 100,000 lives between 1992 and 1995. Survivors share their stories alongside those who brought aid from Scotland, and Scottish children give a voice to the young people of Bosnia and all they suffered. Presented by Bosnian refugee , Sabina Kadi?-Mackenzie, Chair of the education charity in Scotland, Beyond Srebrenica, music by Nigel Osborne.
