The BBC Make a Difference Awards celebrates those who make life better for others in our communities. 2025 was BBC Radio nan Gaìdheal's first involvement in the awards; the entries were diverse and worthy. Four made the shortlist, Cancer Research Lewis and Harris, John Morrison from Harris, Lorna Cormack in Portree and Seonag Anderson in Inverness. They all feature in this special programme hosted by Cathy MacDonald. Cathy hid in a separate studio in Inverness ready to bestow the overall RNG prize to Seonag, and to say she was delighted and overwhelmed, is very much an understatement.
