Bill Walton's The Grateful Team

This series is narrated by late NBA star Bill Walton - who sadly died during production - and features Grateful Dead's Mickey Hart, Lithuanian basketball's Šar?nas Mar?iulionis, Rimas Kurtinaitis and Valdemaras Chomi?ius. Music, sport, and the fall of the Soviet Union collide in the extraordinary true story of how the Lithuanian men’s basketball team reached the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, and how US rock band the Grateful Dead, helped them get there. The Lithuanians beat their former occupiers, the Unified Team (the former Soviet Union) to win bronze and collect their medals in iconic Grateful Dead-inspired tie dye..
